Tokyo, Japan, March 29, 2011 -- Japan’s recent March 2011, 8.9 earthquake, not only created a tsunami, it has also stirred up millions of people around the world to reach out and help the nation during this unfortunate disaster. Germaine Moody, the CEO of networking giant MoodTyme Events, who is also a singer, songwriter and music producer, has decided to use his international networking power to raise money and provide encouragement for the people of Japan through a groundbreaking and historic interactive online benefit called “Not By Yourself”. Supporters, artists and musicians from around the world are recording personal video messages for the people of Japan which are viewable on the benefit's website while others are writing encouraging messages on Facebook to support the cause. Days after the tragedy, Germaine begin composing and writing the song "Not By Yourself", which will feature himself, additional singers on lead, plus a volunteer choir.
A music video for the single will be filmed in Atlanta, GA and is expected to feature hundreds of supporters, artists and musicians in the Atlanta area. Donations to the American Red Cross and Save the Children can be made from the website or sent via text. All proceeds from the music single “Not By Yourself” will be donated to earthquake and tsunami relief charities in Japan.
