Toronto, ON, April 11, 2011 -- Prism Medical Ltd., ("Prism" or "the Company") (TSXV: PM), a leading provider of durable medical equipment and related services to the mobility disadvantaged, announced today that it has retained The Equicom Group ("Equicom") to provide strategic investor relations and financial communications services.
"Equicom brings a significant level of experience from fifteen years of working with healthcare companies. Their ability to generate increased exposure for Prism within the professional investment community will be an asset as we continue to grow and expand our business," said Andrew McIntyre, Chairman and CEO of Prism Medical Ltd.
Prism Medical Ltd. is focused on improving the quality of life of the mobility disadvantaged and their caregivers. Under the terms of the agreement, Prism will pay Equicom a monthly retainer fee of $7,000 for select strategic communications services. The initial contract term is twelve months.
Neither Equicom nor any of its principals have an ownership interest, directly or indirectly, in Prism Medical Ltd. or its securities, and Prism Medical Ltd. has not granted Equicom or its principals any right to acquire such an interest. Equicom is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TMX Group Inc.
