New York, NY, April 16, 2011 -- New Peoples Bank has recently renewed its contract with Edcomm Banker’s Academy for a fourth year of Teller and Customer Service training. Take Charge! Achieving Teller Excellence and Achieving Customer Service Excellence will continue to be hosted and maintained by Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Link®.

Take Charge! Achieving Teller Excellence gives tellers an overview of the industry, prepares them to provide outstanding customer service, reviews the various products and services that the bank offers, such as checking, savings, CDs, loans and IRAs, and teaches tellers how to process and settle transactions while being mindful of compliance issues that affect their work.

Achieving Customer Service Excellence will teach employees everything they need to know to become outstanding relationship managers, in an interactive, self-paced format. Beginning with an overview of the industry, Achieving Customer Service Excellence then addresses the tasks and responsibilities of providing excellent customer service. The course then goes on to cover a model for successfully communicating with customers while providing outstanding service.
