April 18, 2011 -- Below are just a few of the things that might be good to pack for a journey like this.
* If you are hoping to get a bit of sleep on the train then you might want to consider taking a good neck pillow with you. This is obviously not going to be necessary if you have booked yourself a sleeper cabin but if you did not manage to get one of these cabins then this pillow really can help.
* Something else that is great to have on a long train journey is a good book or magazine. Reading on a train with the movement of the train can be really relaxing. If you want to take your whole library with you on your train journey, then you might want to invest in an eBook reader. If you are going to be using an eBook reader make sure you charge it beforehand as it can be difficult to do this on many trains.
* It is a good idea to take some food along with you on a long train trip. Many trains these days will have a trolley or a buffet carriage. However you will also find that it can be quite expensive to buy food on a train and there is never much of a selection. Even if you only bring along your own flask of coffee you could still end up saving a lot of money in the long run.
* An mp3 player can be a nice thing to have on a long train trip. You can then listen to your favourite music or even an audio book or podcast. It really can be a great idea to have an MP3 player these days for journeys such as this as they can provide plenty of entertainment.
These days it has become a trend for more folk to drive in their automobile over to their foreign holiday getaway destination}. Many individuals head straight to the south coast for the dover calais ferries. This often saves being worried about driving through the tunnel and being concerned about all the hassles with prices, etc. And what better way to get to France for a bit of camping in France guide?
