Suwanee, GA, April 19, 2011 -- SOS Brands, Inc. (“SOS”) a fully-owned subsidiary of Advanced Bio-Technologies, Inc. (“ABT”) announces the in-license of a patented product under the CapriClear registered trade name from Skin Evolution, LLC. SOS Brands has been granted the worldwide exclusive rights to manufacture and commercialize CapriClear under a 10 year renewable license. CapriClear is owned by Dr. Betty Bellman, a practicing dermatologist and an Associate Voluntary Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is also an attending on active staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
CapriClear is a spray made from FCO (Fractionated Coconut Oil), which has been patented by Skin Evolution. FCO is a highly stable, colorless, odorless, hypoallergenic and organic emollient that has anti-bacterial effects. It is therapeutic in patients with itchy, sensitive skin, as it repairs the skin barrier, alleviates flaking, calms redness, and softens dry skin. It does not burn or sting upon application, making it ideal for treating children, particularly those suffering from atopic dermatitis.
