Informa Investment Solutions Ranks Top Performers in Managed ETFs
Informa Investment Solutions today announced their newest category of PSN Top Guns rankings, Managed ETFs. Top Guns rank the best-performing managed ETF funds by universe, and included several firms with winners in multiple products across various universes, including Efficient Market Advisors; F-Squared; and Windhaven, which was recently acquired by by Charles Schwab & Co.

White Plains, NY, April 22, 2011 -- Informa Investment Solutions, a division of Informa plc (LSE: INF) and a leading supplier of software and solutions for the financial services industry including the widely-used PSN database, today announced their newest category of PSN Top Guns rankings, Managed ETFs.
The top five in each universe are featured as PSN Managed ETF Top Guns on the www.informais.com website, accessible via complimentary login. Performance rankings are tabulated for hundreds of managed ETF strategies in six distinct universes, subdivided by increasingly rigorous screens and reported in ascending classes from 1-6 stars. Classes include top performers for the most recent quarter, one year, three year and also adds risk statistics at higher levels. PSN Top Gun winners included the following:
Efficient Market: California–based Efficient Market Advisors dominated the Managed ETF US Balanced universe, with 10 products ranking in the top five across all six universes. The firm’s 20 Years Plus Aggressive product garnered a return of 10.1% in the last quarter, almost double that of the 60SP/40BCGC index.
F-Squared: A two-time winner among the traditional PSN Top Guns with two products earning three stars in four universes, F-Squared has two products that rank among the US Equity products in PSN Managed ETF Top Guns earning three stars each.
Windhaven: Recently acquired by Charles Schwab & Co., the Boston-based RIA has two strategies hitting the PSN Managed ETF Top Guns Intl/Global Balanced category. Windhaven’s Aggressive and Growth products outperformed their benchmark by 120 and 160 basis points for the three-year period. Schwab brought Windhaven in house to offer Windhaven Diversified Portfolios through Schwab’s Managed Account Connection™ to its advisor network.
