With TextNANNY, parents can schedule the hours their children have access to their BlackBerry® Smartphone to text. With a few clicks of a button, they can set daily, weekday or weekend only restrictions. In addition, TextNANNY provides three scheduling options, giving the parent flexibility in setting time restrictions.
As another added benefit, parents also have the option to monitor unacceptable behavior, conversations and language being sent via text messaging. For parents concerned about inappropriate text messaging related to drugs, sex or sexting, TextNANNY will cross references keywords or phrases for all incoming/outgoing messages against urban phrase dictionaries (acronyms) to alert against improper content/behavior, then send copies of these exchanges via a text message or email back to a parent.
TextNANNY is password protected so it cannot just be turned off by the child. Also, when TextNANNY is in lock-down mode, for added safety/security, it will always allow important or emergency phone calls to a parent or guardian through a preset list of phone numbers, so they will always be able to communicate.
