DNA Brands Expands Retail Distribution With Walgreens

Boca Raton, FL, June 02, 2011 -- DNA Brands, Inc., (OTCBB:DNAX) makers of the great tasting DNA Energy Drinks® and DNA Meat Snacks, each a favorite of the action sports community and its enthusiastic followers, announced today the execution of an agreement with Walgreens that authorizes DNA to retail its complete line of products to all Walgreen's South Florida locations, making DNA's products more easily accessible. Management believes that this agreement, coupled with the Company's recent announcement of its engagement of Sand Dollar Distributors, (Red Bull's former and exclusive South Florida distributor), solidifies DNA's position in a market with millions of potential new consumers.
Under the Walgreens agreement DNA has been given three cooler shelf facings and a custom in-store rack program that contains DNA Energy Drinks®, DNA Beef Jerky™ and DNA Shred Stix™. DNA drinks and a special 48-piece Shred Stix counter display will also be available in over 100 Walgreens liquor store locations.
"We continually hear from people that they cannot easily find the product," said Ralph Sabella DNA's VP of Operations. Sabella added, "The Walgreens deal gives us another major retailer in the Florida region and greatly expands our distribution footprint. DNA drinks and snacks can now be found in all Walgreens locations and at several hundred independent convenience stores in the territory. DNA Energy Drinks are also available at all Circle-K and most Race Trac locations throughout the state. With Anheuser-Busch and Sand Dollar servicing these locations we are confident that we will see continued growth in our market penetration numbers and, of course, revenues."
A signed agreement with the NFL's Miami Dolphins (MD) will provide additional marketing support for the Walgreens program throughout the promotional period.
