Steven Kainth of Green Room Retail highlights the importance of companies adopting effective point of purchase methods when attending exhibitions, consumer shows and public events, after attending the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas; the largest Show of its kind in the world.
He found that CES now plays host to companies exhibiting not only purely technological devices like smartphones and laptops; rather, this event included car companies like Audi and Ford, who were showcasing their vehicles’ use of electronic engineering and device synchronization, wireless hot spots, and even apps that assist with everything from efficient driving techniques to location based services.
“I’d quickly come to the conclusion that, in order to get the message across that their cars were not just for driving, Ford and Audi needed to take measures to ensure that their stalls showcased how advanced their electronic engineering was - not just their mechanical engineering expertise,” commented Steven Kainth, Account Director at Green Room Retail. “Taking influences from the technological gadget stalls and offering customers the opportunity to experience the technology found in their cars in context and first-hand would have helped these companies to showcase this aspect of their services much more effectively.
