Instead of showing your home around once or twice, you may have to continue showing it another thirty times if you fail to address the issue of the kitchen and bathroom.
If you are met with requests for a reduced selling price because the potential buyers say they need to replace the bathroom it can be very frustrating. It doesn't make sense to splash out on a completely new kitchen that could run in to thousands and thousands; there are lots of ways around that by just freshening up some cupboard doors and adding a few coats of paint.
But when it comes to the bathroom, this is completely different. You could invest a small amount of money to create a new look in the bathroom which could be very beneficial to you. This is something that has been advised by estate agents for many years and the developers seem to have finally caught on.
You may have a fairly modern bathroom and if this is the case then you won't have to do much to vamp it up a bit. Adding some mod cons to the bathroom or replacing the old radiator with a towel rail might be enough to make a buyer choose your house over another house in the same area. Thankfully bathroom fittings and accessories have come down in price and in such a competitive market there are a lot of things in the market that give a bathroom the perfect touch.
A bathroom is always one of the first places a person checks out when searching to buy a house. The showers obviously an important aspect of this. They will also check to see if there's a shower enclosures. In today's day and age though, the electric shower is the in thing.
