Stealth Gear Clothing manufacture a range of quality clothing and accessories for photographers, designed to be worn in the most extreme climates.
The original Rural range from Stealth Gear offered a range of clothing which was ideal for wildlife and nature photographers, but the green country colour way was not ideal for Urban photography.
Due to the success of the design and features of the Stealth Gear Rural range, hunters and wildlife enthusiasts started to use the clothing as it is ideal for extreme terrain and weather.
For 2010, Stealth Gear have now introduced the Extreme Urban Photography Clothing range which features an urban charcoal colour way, and is ideal for press photographers and sports photographers.
The Stealth Gear range has also grown to incorporate a new collection of photography accessories.
Stealth Gear Urban Photographers Trousers 2
The new Urban Photography Trousers are designed to aid photographers while carrying and operating their photography equipment. The new trousers in Urban charcoal boasts a huge range of features including removable knee pads, memory card pockets and expandable lens pockets making them the ideal Urban photographers trousers.
The trousers are stylish, and full of practical features for outdoor photographers whether amateur or professional.
Features many pockets including four accessory pockets for valuables, 1 x Dual CF memory card holder, 2 x Press stud expandable lens/accessory side pockets and 2 x bellowed press stud accessory rear pockets.
Stealth Gear have also added two accessory loops to the side of the trousers to allow you to attach lens pouches etc.
Stealth Gear Urban Photographers Smock
The Stealth Gear photographer's smock is ideal for urban outdoor photographers such as press, cityscape and sports photographers.
Part of the Extreme Photography range, the Urban Smock is designed to give the photographer the best protection in extreme weather conditions.
A common complaint from press photographers is when they are out with their camera around their neck, particularly with a big lens attached, the lens and camera can bounce and hit your chest, causing pain over extended periods.
Stealth Gear have put a large pocket on the front of the smock, which is perfect for placing your camera and lens into your chest when you walk or run. Particularly useful for newspaper photographers who have to move fast to get that elusive celebrity shot.
This feature also protects your camera and lens (with padding) when mobile.
The smock features many pockets including one expandable padded lens pocket (floating to allow backpack straps to go behind).
Padding on the shoulders and elbows with anti slip grips on both sides and a detachable light shade hood and insect repellent mesh face net.
The jacket comes with a large rear pocket, comfort mesh lining, under arm vents and zipped side panels to allow ease of movement.
An outer shell of polyester micro suede is treated with Du Pont Teflon, and twinned with TPU lamination to provide complete protection from wind, rain and extreme weather.
Internal gaiters are also included that prevent any wind, rain or leaves etc ingressing to your legs.
The removable knee pads allow you to crouch and kneel for that perfect shot in complete comfort.
The outer shell of the trousers are 100% polyester micro suede which has been treated with Du Pont Teflon to repel dirt, water and unwanted stains.
Completely waterproof, windproof and breathable, thanks to the TPU lamination which provides 803mm waterproofing and 5826g/m2/24hrs breathability.
Although designed for photography, the Extreme Urban Trousers are so versatile they are also suitable for a whole host of outdoor activities such as walking, hunting, shooting, and working outdoors.
