Kuala Lumpur, 8 July 2011, Greenpacket, a leading developer of next generation mobile broadband and networking solutions reaffirmed its distinction in product design and innovation with the latest nomination of its ‘Shuttle’ WiMAX USB Modem for the German Design Awards 2012, in the Product Design category. This nomination sets a new milestone for Greenpacket as a product developer, elevating the company to a world-class standing; setting a new benchmark in cutting edge technology and creativity in product design.
The annual award by the German Design Council is the highest merit for creations in the field of communication and product design. The prestigious award of awards is bestowed only on products that have previously won a national or international design prize.
In 2011, the ‘Shuttle’ has won a series of renowned awards – the iF Product Design Award 2011 for outstanding design achievement and Product of The Year 2010 by 4GWE for excellence in product performance. Next, Greenpacket will have the privilege to take the ‘Shuttle’ to compete alongside top designers globally for the highest mark of distinction in the German Design Awards 2012,.
The ‘Shuttle’ redefines the next generation of portable modems with its unique identity showcasing excellence in both performance and design. It is the world’s first high-gain USB modem with a breakthrough in supporting a wideband frequency range of 2.3GHz to 2.7GHz. Befitting the lifestyle of mobile generations, it is compact and has a sleek contemporary design.
