FTI Groups Announces Upgrades to Pelican Mouth Productivity Management Software

Keller, TX, July 11, 2011 -- FTI Groups, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions, announced today major upgrades to Pelican Mouth Productivity Management Software that include advancements to the recurring project feature, additional administration tools, and the ability for users to manage external organizations.
Enhancements to the recurring projects feature give users more choices on the frequency and scheduling of tasks that occur often inside of their businesses. These repeating projects now also appear on the main dashboard screen. New administration level controls now allow users more options when defining security levels and category setup. These administration level controls allow Pelican Mouth Productivity Software to be more easily customized to specific processes within individual businesses. The new feature allowing users to add and manage external organizations also provides more flexibility within the system. Businesses can now provide logins to external organizations that they work with. These external organizations are then able to login and view projects that are associated with them; they can also leave notes on the project encouraging improved communications or use the system as a trouble ticket tracking module or help desk alternative.
The core Pelican Mouth application is a web-based tool for managing productivity within small to mid-sized businesses. Pelican Mouth is task oriented, with a focus on delegation and completion. “My favorite word is ‘Done’ and we designed Pelican Mouth so it would easily track task assignments and their completion,” says Jeffrey Godwin, Vice President at FTI Groups, Inc. “Pelican Mouth is the only tool that allows managers to actually see what the members of their team are working on every day. It is the perfect solution for small task and large project tracking for any small business.”
The Pelican Mouth product line is expected to add additional new features as well as at least two industry specific add-on modules before the end of 2011. The application is an annual subscription product and now includes a nearly unlimited amount of project tracking as well as data and attachment storage.
