Addiction Recovery Training Scheduled for August 12th
LIFE Ministries International, a sexual addiction recovery ministry, and South Roebuck Baptist Church are conducting a sexual addiction recovery training event. The agenda includes sexual addiction statistics, discussion of family systems and coping methods of addicts, reviewing the addictive condition and time-tested trauma model recovery methods highlighted in the LIFE Time Recovery Model, LTRM, among other topics on addiction recovery. Birmingham, AL, July 13, 2011 -- LIFE Ministries International, a sexual addiction recovery ministry, and South Roebuck Baptist Church are conducting a sexual addiction recovery training event. The agenda includes sexual addiction statistics, discussion of family systems and coping methods of addicts, reviewing the addictive condition and time-tested trauma model recovery methods highlighted in the L.I.F.E. Time Recovery Model, LTRM, among other topics on addiction recovery. Past attendees to this program highly recommend the topics covered to pastors and ministry leaders.
This event will take place August 12 & 13, 2011 at South Roebuck Baptist Church, 501 Mountain Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. Cost to attend, includes materials and lunch, is $40. For more information about attending, contact Casie of South Roebuck Baptist Church at (205) 503-1361.
South Roebuck Baptist Church is one of several host sites for L.I.F.E. Ministries International’s training events. For several years, L.I.F.E. has conducted similar training events in locations such at Orlando, Atlanta and Maryland. A 2010 conference attendee shares that this is, “One of the best uses of my time and money… How can you measure ‘HOPE’? This weekend’s conference was fantastic – it gave me hope for me and my wife and my marriage.” An attending pastor expresses, “As a pastor, I am thrilled to have a tool to use in an area where there has been very little help in the past. L.I.F.E. Ministries International is a Christ-centered addiction recovery ministry that provides the recovery community with structure, strategy, support and resources for addiction recovery. Since 2000, L.I.F.E. has helped many with their battle against sexual addiction, attributing God and their trauma based model as the key to recovery. While established in sexual addiction recovery, L.I.F.E. is in the process of applying their trauma model and recovery methods to general addiction recovery.
