The August/September 2011 issue of Northshore magazine (http://nshoremag.com) features editors’ and readers’ picks for the North Shore of Boston’s best food, nightlife, entertainment venues, shopping, spas, and more. The current issue also celebrates six years under RMS Media Group’s publishing umbrella.
The magazine’s sixth annual "Best of the North Shore" (BONS) issue delivers a comprehensive listing of the North Shore’s “best of the best” across six major categories (Eat, Live, Play, Shop, Renew, Kids) and numerous sub-categories; ranging from casual dining to shoes.
"Our staff has spent the last several months tasting, sipping, trying on, unwinding with, testing out, and generally taking in all that the North Shore has to offer," comments Lindsay Lambert, editor of Northshore.
Who made this year’s list? Included in the more than 200 picks for 2011 BONS Awards are:
Best Cocktail: G Kitchen & Bar, Swampscott
Best Brewery: Cape Ann Brewing Co., Gloucester
Best Books: Jabberwocky Books, Newburyport
Best Hardware Store: Dawson’s Hardware, Beverly
Best Maternity Clothing: Mighty Aphrodite, Marblehead
Best Home Cleaners: Green Clean, Salem
"The BONS issue is our most popular issue every year and one in which we take an incredible amount of pride publishing,” says publisher Rick Sedler. “Plus, this is our biggest issue ever."
