Flexi Works is a sophisticated, user-friendly online platform that has been specifically designed to facilitate job-seekers in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore who are looking for short-term or long-term temporary employment, such as students, working mums, retirees, and even holiday workers.

Speaking ahead of the imminent launch of Flexi Works, founder and Managing Director Eleanor Ho, says that the arrival of the site means job-seekers will now finally have the type of online job search resource they have needed.
“When I was in university, I spent days searching for part time jobs walking around shopping malls. It can be intimidating, embarrassing and often very time consuming. Nobody should need to do that anymore, especially now we are in the digital era,” she says, adding that Flexi Works’ refreshing recruitment method is long overdue.
“I also think the traditional keyword-matching type of recruitment method must be thrown in the bin. It’s silly to make judgements on applicants by only looking at text, and lots of hiring managers have missed out on exceptional talent because of it.”
“We expect video application will become a main stream in the coming years, especially for the fast moving, high-volume part-time area. Job-seekers get a chance to present themselves properly and hiring managers can save lots of time in selecting suitable candidates. "
Miss Ho set up the new site following a short but successful career in the recruitment industry that took her to 3 continents, including Europe.
While she was invested with the task of assisting hundreds of executives in finding new career opportunities, she also recognised that the specific needs of the non-permanent jobs sector were not being satisfied.
In 2010, she decided to leave the recruitment industry and use her experience, knowledge and industry contacts in Australasia and Europe, to establish a new jobs site that would properly cater to the part-time jobs market.
Originally from Hong Kong, Eleanor Ho lived in Sydney, Australia, for much of her adult life. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, she is a graduate of Macquarie University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing.
