London, UK, 17th September, 2010: Bank charges are difficult to keep up with and are often tricky and time consuming, an expert has claimed.
Alessandra Quartucci, head of current accounts at Confused.com, said that people have trouble keeping up with all the different bank charges and rates associated with their account, which could be losing them money.

Ms Quartucci's comments follow a report by Barclays bank which found that nearly three-quarters of adults in the UK believe themselves to be £70.73 better off than they actually are.
It revealed that Londoners were the most out of touch with the state of their personal finances, overestimating their bank balances by an average of £90.62.
