Los Angeles, CA, August 16, 2011 -- Julie Mann is back for a second season of Self Storage, which is scheduled to air in summer of 2011. The series begins when Dana (Julie Mann) and Shoshanna (Kimberly Trew), are evicted from their apartment and find themselves homeless due to the Great Recession and their own stupidity. In their desperation they move into a storage unit, where they must outwit Norman, the manager of the self storage complex. The first season of Self Storage aired in 2010, and the crew plans to release the second season by August of 2011.
Julie Mann is a transplant from Chicago where she's worked at the Goodman Theatre and at the Steppenwolf Theatre Garage. She has also worked at both the NYC Fringe and Williamstown Theatre Festivals. Her Los Angeles theatrical credits include the Fox TV/Naked Angels Theatre collaboration, No LeGroom, the Matrix Theatre Company’s, Dealing With Clair, and Bus Stop. Julie's been in the LA improv comedy scene at both the UCB and IO West theaters. She has acted in a number of AFI films, Indie films and new media projects as well as written for Style TV's "The Dish" for a season. Other than commercials that you may or may not have tivo'd through, her television appearances include Numb3rs, Judging Amy, The Soup, and as a series regular for the ill-fated pilot The Brandon T. Jackson Show.
