“Only Music Can Save Us Now” Declares Los Angeles Based Recording Artist Alisa Apps
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15 / Bad news everywhere. Following in the steps of Jimi Hendrix, Los Angeles based recording artist Alisa Apps believes that only music can save us now. Hendrix said, “Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music.”

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15 / Bad news everywhere. Following in the steps of Jimi Hendrix, Los Angeles based recording artist Alisa Apps believes that only music can save us now. Hendrix said, “Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music.”
Along with the rest of us she’s been watching the news with alarm and dread. By now it is obvious that we can’t look to big government for the answers and Wall Street has already failed us.
“In the last ten years” says Alisa Apps “America has taken a lot of hits and our morale is down.
It started with 9/11. There was the bailout which turned out to be a rip-off. We put so much hope in Obama but that didn’t exactly fly and now our credit rating has crashed and all the experts are saying the same old things or speaking doomsday predictions."
“I’m an artist and an American and it’s my turn to step up to the plate and do my part,” says Apps. “I believe we need to change our perspective, the way we look at things. It’s time for us to take back our power and not wait on governments or corporations. Each of us can be Superman and do our part. Music can empower us and give us the strength that we need to fight the insanity. Instead of cannibalism and S&M recently pushed on us by Kanye West and Rihanna we need inspiration and greatness. No more degradation. We need to show the world we are the ones who can dig ourselves out and emerge on top. We need to tell the world "Soon You'll See!”
Remember, we are the ones who weathered the Great Depression and World War II and came out as a world leader. We Americans are not only tough but the most inventive people on earth. Because we have freedom, we have the ability to create without limitation.
“Come on fellow musicians! We can do it. We can help give the American people the encouragement and vision they need to get through these tough times. Let's help turn this situation around and let’s inspire people!”
