Author Nancy Goodman is announcing her latest book to a hungry audience. A Novel Diet, A Diet Novel is a fictional work currently being promoted by Networlding Publishing and JumpStart Ink Anyone who over eats will recognize themselves within the pages of A Novel Diet, A Diet Novel.
With A Novel Diet, A Diet Novel, author Nancy Goodman captured the essence of something people struggle with every day, over eating. Through the safety of a fictional character named Genie Burns readers are able to find common ground with Burn’s attachment to comforting foods.
"Our country is one big eating disorder!" says author Nancy Goodman. "Everyone is so obsessed with what they are eating that no one is looking at why they are eating. Food drama is the distraction for what’s going on in our lives. I know so many people who have the same issues with food as I did, so I decided to write a story hoping people will realize that overeating is not about the food!"
As obesity, over-indulgence and uncertain circumstances are plaguing the U.S. right now, the message found within A Diet Novel, A Novel Diet is extremely unique, relevant and current. Smartly written, Goodman's book cleverly blends fact with fiction for the betterment of the literary audience. (www.authornancygoodman.com)
Nancy Goodman suffered with a binge-eating disorder for more than fifteen years. Prior to A Novel Diet, A Diet Novel, Ms. Goodman authored Cookies Don't Fix Boo Boos, Lovorce... A Marital Lumpectomy, and It Was Food VS. Me…And I Won. Goodman's real-woman approach to dieting and over-consumption with food has led to various speaking engagements with some of the largest companies in America, such as Allstate Insurance.
Nancy Goodman attended Indiana University for journalism and is the founder of CoreKids LLC. She currently lives in Illinois and has three children. Nancy's quirky sense of humor makes her a great interviewee with a compelling, yet common, story to tell. Nancy Goodman also claims to have a fifteen year old goldfish with "no idea if it has ever been fed!"
