Aromhuset, a brand of Gert Strand AB, is now launching Vanilla flavour. This essence can be used in many different ways, as vanilla is such a versatile flavour. Aromhuset's essences are specially developed to flavour carbonated water and Vanilla is no exception. 2 ml of Aromhuset's Vanilla per litre of carbonated water adds a mild, sweet, smooth flavour to your sparkling water.

"The essences have a number of uses," says salesman Thomas Ström. "You can add a few drops to cream and serve with fresh strawberries, blueberries or raspberries. You can also make homemade ice-cream or vanilla sauce and let Aromhuset's Vanilla contribute to the flavour.
One benefit of Aromhuset's essences is that they are are very rich in flavour without containing any sugar or artificial sweeteners, which makes them an excellent way to add flavour to your day and still keep a clear conscience. Both children and adults love the sweet flavour of Vanilla, and by adding the essence to your carbonated water you create a satisfying, non-fattening alternative to all those sugary sweet drinks.
We are drinking more and more carbonated water, and today the shops are selling more flavoured water than natural. Strand, the man behind Aromhuset's flavours, believes the current selection is far too limited, especially taking into account the intensity of the flavours available. The tastes on the shelves are very weakly flavoured, and by adding the taste yourself you decide exactly how strong the flavour should be.
Strand recommends 2 ml of essence per litre of water, but emphasises that this is simply a general measure. For weak sparkling water like you would find in the shops use half that amount, and for stronger flavours increase the dosage as desired.
Adding the essence is simple using either the cap from the bottle, which measures 3 ml, or the specially provided pipette.
It is important to drink enough water, but regular, flat water can quickly become boring. Carbonated water is livelier, but even that can become routine after a while. With Aromhuset's selection of around 20 flavours water need never be boring again, there are so many possible combinations of flavours. For example Vanilla works very well with the slightly tart berry flavours, creating a delicious balance of sweet and sour.
Thomas Ström says that Aromhuset is currently on the lookout for new importers for their essences, which, with their focus on health, are expected to revolutionise the flavoured drinks market.
