San Antonio, Texas - September 28, 2010 - Green Home Improvements is going full force. Our company is growing rapidly, with many homeowners throughout south Texas already enjoying the benefits of one of our remodeling projects. We do all sorts of home improvement projects, but the one we are most proud of would have to be the radiant barrier. In fact, we are so proud of our radiant barrier, that we have actually branded our own, called Ecobarrier Systems.
We have made these changes in the past week and have already received tremendous feedback. Homeowners love what we do, and installing a radiant barrier with our names on it, you can bet it is guaranteed to last for years. This isn't a cheaply made clone of the radiant barrier we have been installing in homes for years. This is the same, great quality radiant barrier you have come to expect from Green Home Improvements. We didn't take any shortcuts.

We have been educating homeowners on ways to save energy for years, and don't mind taking our education to the web. A radiant barrier can either be a spray-on or foil type application that goes on teh underside of your attic, in the rafters. What it does, is it blocks out the radiant heat that would otherwise collect in your attic. This radiant barrier keeps your attic cooler, and allowing your A/C to work half as hard as it is used to.
See, with no radiant barrier, your attic can maintain a temperature of 140-160 degrees in the summer. This means that your A/C is having to work hard, to push the cold air through the hot air surrounding the ducts in the attic. After installing a radiant barrier your attic will maintain a temperature in the 80s to low 90s, allowing you to save up to 34% on your energy bills.
Our Ecobarrier Systems radiant barrier is your top of the line foil application. It can be argued that the foil type radiant barrier is much more effective than the spray on application. However, the spray on application can be a great substitute on attics with virtually no crawl space, as it is an easy applicable solution, ultimately providing the same benefits as a foil type radiant barrier.
