This band divides the upper portion of the stomach into a small pouch, separating it from the lower larger portion of the stomach. This band helps you to limit the intake the food by causing you to feel full faster after eating.
Lap-Band and Realize Band are the two types of adjustable gastric banding surgery. And the last type is Gastric sleeve which is also known as gastric sleeve resection and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.
