Chorley, UK, September 20, 2011 -- Mayflower Engineering has more than 20 years experience in working with metal sculpture fabrication to develop stunning complex metal sculptures.
Mayflower Engineering has worked successfully with a variety of artists, architects and Local Authorities for a number of years to design, manufacture and install a wide range of fabricated metal sculptures.
The company are able to meet the high expectations of their clients, providing both static and dynamic sculpture designs, by 3D Modelling, manufacturing from stainless steels, mild steels, special steels and coatings and even non-metallics.
Operations Director at Mayflower Engineering, Glyn Hobson, said: “Everyone’s got their own take on specialist sculpture fabrication.
“Where we are at our most successful is when it’s a one-off unique sculpture project and there is a need for our bespoke engineering, design and manufacturing skills. If it hasn’t been done before and it requires a degree of innovation in the design, fabrication machining, assembly and testing, then that’s where we come in.”
Mayflower Engineering’s capability to offer bespoke, one-off designs is supplemented by the ability to operate a fast track basis, responding and undertaking to both design and specialist fabrication projects on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis if required.
The key ingredient for Mayflower is having a team of designers and engineers which is second-to-none, thanks to years of industry experience which benefits from Sheffield’s rich heritage.
Mr Hobson continued: “Many of our skills have been honed over decades. That makes us different as there are very few specialist fabrication projects that we couldn’t undertake successfully.
