It was a starry night at the music launch event of Bollywood’s latest upcoming movie 'Life Express'. The heavyweights of Indian music like Jagjit Singh, Udit Narayan and Roop Kumar Rathod were present at the event along with Divya Dutta. The movie, directed by debutant director Anup Das, will shed light on the problems faced by urban couples in the fast paced city lifestyle.
The cute and dimply Divya Dutta plays the main lead in the movie. She was seen in a stunning floral knee length dress which gave her the look of a little princess. Talking to the reporters, the bubbly actress explains that the movie is very simple and has a city couple bring a girl from Uttar Pradesh to take care of their child when they are away for work. Inspired by real-life instances and the director’s research, “Life Express” looks at how the busy life in metros tends to leave little time for a career-oriented woman to have children.
The gathering of musical maestros at the event was one thing that no one could miss and they were all praises for the music director of the movie Roop Kumar Rathod. Ghazal guru Jagjit Singh who has sung a song in the movie says that the music given by Roop is extremely simple yet beautifully melodious. Divya also adds that she simply loves the soothing music and that it’s a pleasant surprise in the times of fast paced music. Her personal favorite is the song sung by Jagjit and she listens to it almost every day.
The movie also stars Tollywood queen Rituparna Sengupta who plays the role of a surrogate mother. Divya, who will also be seen with the bollywood goddess Mallika Sherawat in Hisss, has enjoyed acting with the beautiful Miss Sengupta and explains that the movie will strongly appeal to a niche audience who like simple plain movies.
