"MakroCare Launches SMO Division"
MakroCare is a US based multidisciplinary knowledge and technology driven global firm that provides clinical, medical, informatics, and consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. With the ongoing growth of site management needs, MakroCare has separated it’s site management and patient recruitment activities under MCSMO (Site Management Organization) division. Compliant with GCP, this dedicated division provides affordable and
comprehensive site management services, focusing on site performance, patient recruitment/retention and on-time study completion. This would be the fourth division for Makrocare, complementing the existing portfolio.
‘MC-SMO will counter the growing challenge of matching right patients with appropriate trials by providing affordable and specialized solutions by bringing experienced investigators in various therapeutic areas through mPINMAT, eSITE Model, centralized site performance monitoring through SiteTRACK, site specific project management, developing new sites with GCP trained investigators, placement of GCP trained CRCs for the sites. Apart from these MCSMO also delivers project specific patient recruitment strategies through nROLL and adherence and retention improvement plans using viREMIND, overall patient recruitment tracking by RecGEN, Quality Management and preparation of sites for Audits and Inspections, Site Identification, Site Selection process with Regulatory Submissions, Other Vendor Feasibilities for Central Lab, Ethics Committee, Imaging service,” said Mr. Mahesh Malneedi, CEO of MakroCare.
According to the company, MCSMO is a team of highly process-driven experienced professionals and understands the expectations and needs of Pharma/Biotech, Device and CRO clients with operational locations across South Asia (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand).
