Phuket FM Radio Co Ltd, broadcasting on 91.5 FM in Phuket and online at http://www.phuketfmradio.com , is delighted to have been invited to join Phuket’s premier boutique sailing event, Phuket Raceweek 2012, scheduled for 18-22 July, as an Official Media Partner. Phuket Raceweek, now in its 9th year, was voted “Best Asian Regatta of the Year” at the 2011 Asia Boating Awards in Hong Kong. The regatta regularly attracts up to 40 yachts and sailors from all over the world.
Byron Jones for Phuket FM Radio says, “This is indeed an exciting time for 91.5 FM as we get more involved in the larger sports events in and around Phuket. 91.5 FM brings another dimension to events, not only in pre-event and awareness promotion but also interaction with participants, sponsors and event organizers and then capturing the actual event action and utilizing its extensive network to share the Phuket news”.
Paul Norris (aka DJ Doris), the anchor at 91.5 FM for nearly four years, says, “91.5 FM continues to get out in Phuket and in front of the major Phuket events. I am excited about learning another aspect of Phuket Sports activities and after the Franke Cooking Competition at last year’s Phuket Raceweek, who knows what we’ll be doing in 2012”.
