The forests of Western Australia are home to famous native timbers like jarrah, marri, and karri. These are now available at Danny's Timber Supplies. Marri too, is a hard wood with light timber with tones of black that runs through its grains. "I practically grew up in the timber industry in the state's Southwest, and was exposed to the many facets of this profession at an early age. We started in 1995 as firewood supplies at Perth, but later branched into timber milling in 2000 with help from a team of qualified workers," explains Danny. The Company is owned and operated by Fastace Investments Pty. Ltd, and located approximately one hour from the Perth CBD.
Western Australia is home to a unique and diverse range of fauna and flora including jarrah, tingle, karri and tuart. Excessive logging has put the already fragile ecosystem in danger. In an effort to promote the conservation of the environment, Danny's Timber Supplies prefers dry and seasoned timber that is derived from the forest already dead. Sometimes trees that are 150 years old are felled, but they also provide green, and semi dry timber.
