Good food and good music always make wonderful companions. Combine these with friends and you have a winning combination for a great weekend. Bouvard Bar-Bouvard Tavern promises all of these to guests visiting the old fashioned family pub.
"We offer a wide variety of amusements to guests- Fridays are 'Chase the Ace' evenings, on Saturdays guests can come to take advantage of the Daylight savings that open at 9am to watch the races in the beer garden. Sundays is for live music in Bouvard that takes place from 5 to 8 in the evening," says Stephen Coyle of Bouvard Tavern. Stephen manages this family owned business that values its association with the community. The Tavern is associated with several charities including Port Bouvard Surflife saving club, Mandurah Sea Rescue, State emergency Service, Dawesville Catholic Primary school.
The Pub's a great place to visit on the week days as well with great discounts and offers. On Mondays Fish and Chips are available only for $10, on Tuesdays Schnitzels are available for $12, Wednesdays are reserved for steaks as rump steaks are available for just $13 and Porterhouse steaks are available for just $16. On Thursdays, curry is available for just $12. "We also run offers for locals, wherein they get to join our exclusive club by sending an SMS to 0416 907 086. Beers that are designated as the Beer of the Month are always sold at $6/pint," adds Stephen.
As for the other specials, the friendly Bouvard live music bar has a special kid friendly menu that includes chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, kids' steak, fish and chips, and Turkish bread pizza. The dessert includes Tiramisu, chocolate mousse, date pudding and butterscotch and pecan puddings. "The beef used by Bouvard Tavern is sourced from Dardanup Butchering Company from WA's Southwest. We use all MSA graded meat and our Porterhouse is Tender Ridge," adds Stephen. Diners can enjoy these at the outdoor beer garden that offers alfresco dining. And for those looking to catch up on a drink with a friend, the Saloon Bar is just right.
