John Mellencamp plans to never stop with his “No Better Than This” Tour
As reported by JohnMellencamp.com, John Mellencamp is back with his “No Better Than This Tour” and he entertained his fans with 26 songs in 2 hours. This also marks the first time Mellencamp has played so much of guitar in these shows. Secondary ticket seller TicketLuck.com predicts that the smashing performance would lead to a rise in ticket prices on secondary ticket selling websites as the demand for his shows increases.

As reported by John Mellencamp’s Official Website, John Mellencamp is thriving with his “No Better Than This” tour across the country. This tour started with a couple of performances at Indiana University Auditorium in Bloomington, Indiana. After the shows, “It's About You”, a film giving a sneak peek into Mellencamp's 2008 tour with Willie Nelson and Bob Dylanand were presented. As the tour has just launched recently, there are scores of dates that have been decided for the upcoming shows in various cities. A wide array of configurations such as solo acoustic, full-tilt electric band etc. were employed in these performances. Other than the current album, a number of John Mellencamp’s older songs were also made a part of these performances. This also marks the very first time Mellencamp has hailed the guitar for so long at his show, "I've never played guitar in a show as much as this…" remarked Mellencamp.
Fans are understandably ecstatic about the superstar’s current form as Sara, one of his fans, expressed her experience at Mellencamp’s “No Better Than This” first performance saying, “Mellencamp’s performance was as rocking as it always is.His guitar playing was so beautiful that it turned in to a mesmerizing experience. He has always had the power to transfer you to utopia and he did it this time too.” Scott Briggs from TicketLuck.com claimed that this hit opening show will “inflate the prices” for future John Mellencamp show tickets as fans rush to see the superstar back in action. Some of the upcoming shows that look like hot sellers include John Mellencamp in New York, John Mellencamp in Lowell, John Mellencamp in Denver and John Mellencamp in Pittsburgh.
