YGN Launches Outreach Program
Youth Golf Network, an organization that provides golf instruction to youth to build self-esteem and offer a positive influence to children, has restructured its program and started a new Web site.

Youth Golf Network, an organization that provides golf instruction to youth to build self-esteem and offer a positive influence to children, has restructured its program and started a new Web site.
While the organization remains a role model for children and teens and teaches them how golf can help them throughout life, YGN also wants to help people succeed through golf. This month, YGN has begun reaching out to Veterans and entrepreneurs. As a result, it plans an event in the spring or fall that would help those groups. YGN has not set a date and is working out the details of the event. Call Jeanette Ortegon to volunteer or for more information at 443 852-2336.
In addition to the outreach program, YGN is providing entrepreneurial education and mentoring programs to children. The organization will host its annual festival to highlight its youth golf program and to highlight its entrepreneurial program.
"I want to help today's youth learn from golf, which is such a part of the business world," said YGN President and Founder Jeannette Ortegon. "However, I realized that young people aren't the only ones who can benefit from golf."
