Todd Doors, one of the UKs leading suppliers of timber doors, remain immensely proud to have been nominated at last month's prestigious 2012 Business Excellence awards, despite missing out on the prize for Medium Business of the year.
The company had earlier received nomination for the award alongside six other businesses- each with a turnover of between £5-25 million. However unfortunately there could only be one winner and Sheargold Limited, a specialist sourcing and procurement organisation based in South Ruislip, Middlesex, were proclaimed victors in the Medium Business of the Year category.
The ceremony, which was held inside the plush grounds of the Shendish Manor hotel in Hertfordshire on May 17th, took place to pay tribute to some of the region's (South Hertfordshire, South Buckinghamshire and North/North-west London) top businesses and was presented by Channel 4 News Anchor, Krishnan Guru-Murphy.
Guests and nominees a-like were treated to a champagne reception before hearing from guest speakers, including Nikki King, Managing Director of Izuru Trucks.
Despite missing out this time round, Todd Doors say they are still immensely proud to have received nomination for such a prestigious award, and claim that such recognition goes to prove just how hard the company works to adhere to their own high quality standards.
A spokesperson for the company said today:
"We're immensely proud to have been recognised by the judges and the assembled committee panel. Our representatives, who attended the event, had a delightful time and would like to thank all the organisers for such an enjoyable evening."
