Mark Scott, director and one of two shareholders of Tractor & Grader Supplies (Pty) Ltd has recently been nominated as Broad Member of Independent Distributors Association (IDA) responsible for Africa and Middle East. IDA is a worldwide non-profit association of independent businesses that supply quality parts, equipment and service to the heavy construction industry.
"Mark Scott is a 4th generation African born and was raised in South Africa. After matriculated in 1992, he worked one year for a hire company in Swaziland and joined in Dozer Parts (Pty) Ltd as a green horn internal salesman. In 1995, Mark joined Terence Cunningham, the then owner of Tractor & Grader Supplies (TGS), a small service orientated replacement parts company. Within a year of joining, Mark became a partner of TGS. Due to the consistent effort of Mark and his partners, TGS became the first choice of customers in Sub Saharan Africa for OPM replacement parts and the repairs of components for Caterpillar, John Deere, Perkins and Cummins applications," says a spokesperson for Tractor & Grader Supplies (Pty) Ltd
