CALIFORNIA, Sacramento (December 2010) – Confluence Environmental announces experienced services in groundwater sampling. Services include but are not limited to well development, water level monitoring, well development, well abandonment, down hole video inspection, remediation system operation, soil vapor point sampling/installation, soil sampling, and well head maintenance.
Groundwater Sampling – Confluence Environmental has extensive sampling experience on some of the most complex and highly scrutinized sites in California. Confluence Environmental Technicians experience includes complicated site specific protocol as well as standardized EPA approved procedures. Confluence has experience with low flow sampling, micro flow sampling, standard three case volume purge, grab sampling, composite sampling, depth discrete sampling, or surface water sampling.
Monitoring Well Maintenance - Unsecured well box lids and degraded concrete aprons can create risky health and safety situations for field employees and the general public. Additionally, preventative maintenance can reduce the risk of costly emergency repairs. Confluence combines extensive construction and ground water sampling experience so that repairs are made while paying special attention to the sensitive nature of monitoring wells. Confluence’s proactive approach to repairs kept costs under control while keeping sites safe and within strict compliance requirements

Well Development - Using a Positive Air Displacement (PAD) development system Confluence Environmental can develop new wells or re-develop wells at a fraction of the price of most drilling outfits. Confluence’s PAD system is capable of gently moving large volumes of silt and sediment from the well bottom. All air used to displace water and sediment is contained within the pump so there is no danger of injecting air into the screen. Confluence Environmental also has the capability to develop with electric submersible pumps and/or stainless steel sludge bailers.
Soil Vapor Point Sampling - Soil Vapor sample point installation - Confluence can install both temporary and permanent sample points. Soil Vapor sample collection – Confluence’s technicians are experienced collecting soil vapor samples per client specific protocol.
In Situ Video Inspection – Confluence’s down hole video unit can deployed up to 1000 feet. It transmits a beautiful color picture with the deployment depth displayed on the viewing monitor. All footage is digitally recorded and can be delivered via DVD, thumb drive, or uploaded to a viewing server such as YouTube. Video inspections are great for bore hole inspection, well construction confirmation, obstruction observation, casing / screen inspection, etc…
