Kansas City Urology Care is pleased to be able to provide office-based vasectomy procedures, under anesthesia, as part of our men's health services. This is a safe and effective procedure when performed by Board Certified Urologists like those at Kansas City Urology Care.
For an out-patient sedated vasectomy, the treating urologist would bring the patient to our new Endoscopy Center at I-435 & Nall in Overland Park, KS where one of our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) will administer a moderate sedative. We are happy to be able to bring this service to our patients for their comfort during the procedure and to reduce any anxiety.
With more than 500,000 estimated to occur every year, vasectomies are already one of the safest, most effective and non-invasive methods for permanent birth control. Now, with the inclusion of sedation techniques, there's even less to stress about.
