Los Angeles, Calif., July 27, 2010—Vivoderm Laboratories Vice President and partner, Dr. Noushin Adhami has been nominated for the 2010 National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Remarkable Women Awards.
The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), headquartered in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, is the voice of America's 9.1 million women entrepreneurs.
NAWBO-California, the most influential women's organization in the state, represents nearly one-million California women-owned businesses. The nominations were categorized to highlight outstanding business leaders as award winners in the following three categories: Lifetime Achievement, Business Owner of the Year and Entrepreneur to Watch.
Dr. Adhami was nominated for The Entrepreneur to Watch category, which focuses on a woman who founded her business of 5 years or less and is a majority owner (51% or more) of her company. She has demonstrated exemplary entrepreneurial achievement, is a well-rounded businesswoman, a success story, and role model for others to emulate.
Dr. Noushin Adhami personally financed her own dental practice ?Vistasol Dental? in 2007. Adhami then tripled the business revenue from 2007 to 2008 and now runs a multispecialty clinic without any partners.
In 2009, Dr. Adhami co-founded Vivoderm Natural Skincare in the middle of turbulent economic times. Vivoderm has already seen successes with mass appeal, has been gifted to the Kardashians at a birthday event and recently threw a heavily attended celebrity launch party in Newport Beach. Additional launch events for the new skincare line will be scheduled throughout the year.

To recognize the outstanding members who contribute their time and talent to local business associations and to the community, NAWBO-OC established the Annual Remarkable Women Awards Event. Constituents from all over the county gather together to honor their organization's Member of the Year. The goal is to create strong affiliations among members and leaders of these organizations, and provide them with valuable community exposure.
The 15th Annual Remarkable Women Awards Event & Dinner will be held October 5, 2010 at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa, California.
