LA Bariatric Center in Marina Del Rey is well considered one of the area's top bariatric weight loss facilities. Combining bariatric surgery with comprehensive aftercare, the practice is now celebrating its 10 year anniversary. LA Bariatric's Medical Director, Dr. Jeremy Korman, took a moment to speak on this important milestone.
"It has been such an honor to serve our community for over a decade," explains Dr. Korman. "In these past ten years, we have helped countless patients achieve their weight loss goals and maintain absolutely remarkable results." LA Bariatric Center offers several of today's top gastric procedures. These include LAP-BAND®, Lap Gastric Bypass and Gastric Sleeve procedures.
Asked to speak on what exactly sets LA Bariatric Center apart, Dr. Korman offered this: "What makes our practice unique is not only our patient-centric approach but how we incorporate all the tools and support patients need into one concise program. Adopting a holistic approach, LA Bariatric Center's staff is made up of professionals from several different disciplines. These include nurses, a dietician, a clinical social worker and physical therapist.

About Dr. Korman
Dr. Jeremy Korman is a board certified general surgeon who specializes in today's top bariatric procedures, including laparoscopic gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric imbrications.
Dr. Korman earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and completed his general surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Fellowship trained in laparoscopic general surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, he also completed an additional fellowship in bariatric surgery.
Dr. Korman is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
