People with a CDL(Commercial Driver's License) are expected to be in demand for some time to come. Having a career in commercial truck driving is not easy. That's why the right training is important. Allstate Commercial Driver Training has been providing quality instruction for over thirty years.
The school offers training in a variety of areas: Connecticut CDL training allows you to receive the CDL Class A or CDL Class B. CDL Class A permits drivers to operate tractor trailer rigs. CDL Class B is for the operation of smaller trucks. Drivers with CDL Class A operate rigs that carry a large percentage of the goods delivered across the country. Allstate offers CDL Class A training seven days a week. Allstate differs from other truck driving schools by providing one-on-one instruction. Students learn on the same truck, and the same site, where they'll be tested. Allstate makes sure that students meet all commercial drivers license requirements.
Training hours depend on the student's schedule. The full class CDL Class A training can be completed in six weeks. Holders of a Class A license may operate all vehicles within class B. Training also allows students to earn endorsements that help them make more money. Any driver carrying hazardous materials must earn a Hazmat endorsement. A tank endorsement is necessary for drivers that transport liquids and gases in a permanently mounted cargo tank. A Doubles/Triples endorsement means that a driver can haul more than one trailer at a time. Most CDL Class A drivers try to get as many endorsements as possible. Allstate is the only Connecticut CDL school that offers bus training. The CDL passenger endorsement permits students to operate most buses including school buses and commercial buses. Allstate also offers a forklift training program. Commercial truck driving is a rewarding field. It offers people an opportunity to make a good living while enjoying the open road.
