The year 2011 marks the beginning of the recruitment process for Bank of Baroda, a bank which need to introduction of itself as it is already a well established and recognized institution prevailing efficiently all over India. There are more than 3200 branches of Bank of Baroda all over the country along with 27 overseas branches. The bank has a global business of over Rs. 4, 90, 000 crores along with having a separate niche in the financial market. The bank aims at achieving a technology that enables the customer-centric financial services organization with a view to ensure better relation with its customers.
Vacancy for post:
There is a vacancy for a clerical post in all over India. The vacancy in such respect is also subject to separate reservation for the schedule cast and schedule tribe along with other quotas such as disabled, etc.
Eligibility criteria:
Interested candidates must fulfill the basic requirement as prescribed by the authorities’ in order to compete for the available post at clerk level. The eligibility criterion is divided into two requirements which are as follows:
- Educational Qualification: The candidate desirous of such a post shall have at least a pass certificate with 55% in Higher Secondary Examination (whereas 50% in case of SC/PWD/Ex-serviceman/ST) or a valid degree in any discipline which shall come from a recognized university or any other qualification which is equivalent to such degree.
- The candidate should be fluent with English in terms, which is, writing and speaking. There should be proper knowledge about regional language and the candidate must possess general computer knowledge.
- Age: The age of the candidate should be at least 18 years as on 1.1.2011, whereas the maximum age as on such above shall be 28 years. Relaxation can be given in respect of ST/SC/ OBC/Ex-serviceman as per the guidelines issued by the Government.
How to apply?
Candidates shall apply by means of online application. A candidate shall go to bankofbaroda.com and register himself for such purpose. The email address shall be a valid one, else the registration shall not be deemed to be recognized. Bank may use the same email id o inform the candidate about any further proceeding which requires the cooperation of the candidate such as examination, etc.
Added to it, candidates shall also deposit a fee in the nearest Bank of Baroda branch with the account number 29040200000199 with Bandra Kurla Complex which shall in favor of “RECRUITMENT OF-1500-CLERICAL STAFF-PROJECT 2011”. The same shall be also applicable for St/SC/Ex serviceman but the fee will be lesser than the normal amount.
Candidates shall also sit for a written test, the date for which shall be 17.04.2011. General information such as nationality, age, applications from serving employees shall also be considered.
Emoluments: The expected pay for the post shall vary from Rs. 7200 to Rs. 19300 plus DR, HRA, etc. There is also a probation period of 6 months where the performance of the candidates will be assessed and will affect the validity of their post in the future with Bank of Baroda.
