The field of computer vision or machine vision, has been growing at a fast pace. Today, more and more industries are using machine vision camera technology to improve productivity and reduce costs. To meet the demand for high-end industrial cameras, Rice Camera Technologies together with their manufacturing partner SVS-Vistek GmbH is proud to announce a new family of high-performance machine vision cameras that utilize high-quality sensors, and proprietary electronics combined with special optics.
The 'EVO Tracer' camera family provides machine vision systems with: Increased Accuracy, Improved Yield, and Maximum Detection Capabilities. Based on high-quality CCD sensors from TrueSense and the Micro-Four-Thirds lens mount system, customers now have full control over focus, zoom, and aperture while using GigE Vision at high speeds and with high resolution. "These cameras allow our customers to have more control over their imaging system, and reduce both optics costs and system setup time while increasing overall system performance", reported Jay Rice, the President & CEO of Rice Camera Technologies.
Rice Camera's machine vision camera portfolio consists of models such as a 29 Megapixel GigE camera, 16 Megapixel machine vision camera, High Resolution Infrared Cameras, SWIR Cameras and more. "We focus on cameras for 3 main types of customers; Machine Vision System Builders, Military/Robotics Systems, Cutting Edge Researchers. That's it. We do not have any low-end, security or consumer cameras. We provide high-end, superior performance industrial cameras from X-Ray to LWIR for use in advanced imaging systems", Rice concluded.
