In this era of technology, understanding and leveraging the right ‘Education Technology’ is fast becoming an important imperative for progressive academic institutions. To usher in this revolution, MBAUniverse.com is organizing first-of-its-kind annual conference on the theme of ‘Leveraging Education Technology in MBA Education’ on Friday, March 4, 2011, in New Delhi.
Education Technology pioneer Mr. Rajendra S. Pawar, Chairman and Co-Founder, NIIT Group, will deliver the Keynote Address at the conference.
Mr. Pawar, co-founded NIIT in 1981, thus pioneering the computer education market in India, creating a completely new industry segment and taking it to consolidation and maturity. He has played a leadership role in nurturing NIIT and building it into a leading Global Talent Development Corporation. Mr. Pawar also founded NIIT University in 2009.
Known for promoting industry-academia alliances, Mr. Pawar has been working closely with the country’s well-known educational institutions. He is on the Board of Governors of India’s premier institutions: IIT Delhi; ISB Hyderabad; IIM Bangalore and The Scindia School.
Mr. Pawar is an alumnus of The Scindia School, Gwalior and IIT Delhi. He has also been awarded an Honorary Doctoral Degree by the Rajiv Gandhi Technical University in 2005.
