FORE School of Management, the New Delhi based B School is all set to host the GD PI sessions which will start this Monday, February 21, 2010. But before appearing for the GD PI rounds of this B School, if you know the admission criteria and the qualities it seeks from a potential student, you would get an idea if you can fit the role of an MBA student of FORE School of Management.
In an exclusive interaction with Dr. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya, Convene r- Admissions, talks about the weightage given to various parameters, the qualities they look for in a candidate and more about the program.
Q: What would be the cut off percentile of CAT 2010 that you would follow, to short list the candidates?
A. For 2011 admissions the CAT cut off percentile for the PGDM programme is 87.2 and for the PGDM-IBM programme, it is 80. 17.
Q: What are the other factors that you take into consideration apart from the CAT scores?
A. Apart from CAT percentile we give consideration to academic performance, work experience, performance in group discussion and personal interview.
Q: How much weightage is given to CAT scores, performance in GD & PI/any other process, past academic records and work experience?

Q: What are the qualities that you look forward in a potential student of Fore School of Management?

A. 180 seats for PGDM; 60 seats for PGDM-IBM
Q: What would be the fee for the 2011-13 batch?
A. Rs. 8 lakhs for both PGDM and PGDM-IBM
