The Western Wall is situated in Old City of Jerusalem, this site is believed to be scared place for Jewish people. The wall is located at the bottom of the Temple Mount in the western side surrounded by Jewish temples. The alternate name of this site is also called as Wailing Wall. This was constructed made by Herod the Great in the ancient period of 19 BCE; the material used to build this site was limestone. The height of this wall measures around 62 feet that is 19 meter. It is one the holiest place where all the Jewish people and devotees come here to pray, chant and to take the blessings, when you visit this place, you can see that people also grieve in the failure of their temple. In Western Wall, thousands of devotees and worshippers gather here every year. Prayers are held here day and night with various facilities available.
